Every student must appear for tests, which are held from time to time, with full preparation.

• Problems in IIT-JEE/PMT are not direct application of a concept.

• Do not give up solving a problem after one or two attempts only. It is only by doing & trying to do difficult problems that you can improve your analytical skills.

• You have to optimally use the time available. This could also mean realignment of your extra activities.

• It is possible to prepare a topic by doing quality problems only if you try to solve them completely by yourself. This may involve devoting extra time on an occasional problem.

• Don't leave some difficult problems as doubts to be cleared from your teachers.

• Do all the assignments & exercises thoroughly on your own.

The student who has the power & skill to take on random problem is the ultimate winner.
